Site Suitability

The T400-34 has been installed in a wide variety of locations ranging from quay walls in industrial ports to school yards. The T400-34 is one of the most versatile turbines when it comes to site suitability. With tip heights available of 45.4, 51 and 67 m, the T400-34 offers considerable flexibility depending on planning constraints. As a result, it can be placed in closer proximity to radio masts and radar installations than many of its competitors and offers reduced visual impact. Excellent noise performance reduces separation distance under the ETSU R-97 methodology to approximately 450 metres from the nearest dwelling, or closer on sites where background noise levels are sufficient for it to meet the relevant guidelines, making the T400-34 the ideal turbine for a farm or business.
